On Friday, Farmhouse principal and creative director Ben Fant was honored by the Memphis Business Journal as being one of Memphis’ Top 40 Under 40. The award “recognizes the area’s young movers and shakers who have made significant contributions to the Memphis and Mid-South community through career accomplishments and leadership in the business, professional, civic and personal arenas.”

The presenters asked that each award recipient offer a hashtag that expresses what they are about. Fant chose #family. In his acceptance, he explained family is the most important thing. He stated, “my hashtag is family, because family is the most important thing. My beautiful wife, Ashley, and I have started our own family with the birth of our daughter Georgia. Georgia is sweet and she loves people, so everyone should say ‘hi’ to Georgia before they leave. I also have my work family. Jason Prater, Graham Reese, Chris Strain, and our new hire, Erica Owen. Without them, I would not be here. None of this would be possible. Beyond that, I also have you. My Memphis family. This community has shown me so much love with everything I am trying to accomplish, and I love you right back. Thank you for this recognition. It means a lot.”
